From buses to potholes, the state is looking for ways to improve transportation. The Michigan Department of Transportation held a summit at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center.
MDOT invited experts from all over the country to brainstorm ways to make Michigan's transportation more efficient. The summit follows the release of MDOT's five-year transportation program.
If fully funded, the program provides for major improvements on roads and bridges across the state.
