The Lansing Hope Scholarship Fund that will pay for the city's at-risk youth to attend college got a a half-million dollar donation.
The money will come in the form of a multi-year grant from the Dart Foundation.
Hope Scholarships will be pay for two years at Lansing Community College. They will be awarded to at-risk kids who stay in school and stay out of trouble.
