The City of Jackson is expecting to exceed their 2000 presidential absentee ballot count by 30 percent this year.
Workers in the clerks office say they're working overtime to meet demand but they don't plan on exceeding city budgets by much if any at all.
The last day to apply and vote through an absentee ballot for most areas is Monday by 4 PM.
