The FBI plans to hire more agents in Michigan to investigate terrorism and intelligence cases.
The head of the Detroit FBI office says Michigan will get at least four agents for counter-terrorism and counter-intelligence squads under next year's budget. The office also leads the Joint Terrorism Task Force comprised of members from local law enforcement departments.
The exact number is classified. But the FBI has said more than 50 agents are assigned to Michigan.
