Michigan Soldier Killed in Iraq

The Defense Department says a Michigan soldier has been killed while serving in Iraq.
The military says 22-year-old Army Private First Class Casey P. Mason is from Lake, a small community in southwestern Clare County.
He was killed Tuesday in Mosul when enemy forces attacked his unit with small arms fire.
Mason was assigned to the 728th Military Police Battalion, 8th Military Police Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
