The State Department of Community Health warns residents not to eat fish from the Saginaw River. Health officials say the fish--carp, catfish, and white bass--could have unsafe levels of dioxin in their bodies.
Dioxin has been linked to cancers, birth defects, and harm to the immune system.

this is just being noticed.and what will it cost to fix if really possible.many of our water supplies have been ruined all over.things have been dumped under ground,in lakes,in oceans, ect.and worse yet the gov has been aware of it.raise fishing and hunting lience fee, sure.thoes that can't afford just might be safer not eating these things any more.man is living to kill himself, through much stupidity.easy ways out, quick fixes, and no planning ahead.what a mess this world is in.it is always the attuide we will worry about something later.god did not want the earth or wildlife to suffer like this, but now man pays as they did not listen.woe is the earth, then woe is man.as many people and the gov decieded not to listen to the bible, all will suffer.money can't fix everything.as more people are finding out.and it can't replace everything, and we can't take it with us when we die.but if we don't have it we are nobody on this earth, how sad.
