After this is all said and done, Potterville is not better off. Does anyone seriously think that the books will be done properly in one year? I wonder if there will be another recall campaign by the same negative people when the books remain "improper?" Don't hold your breath. There was no criminal activity done, no wrong doing per the Michigan State Police and independent auditors. What more do you want? People in Potterville voted this in on wrong information and lies from a small minority of negative individuals who are out for their own good. I find it ironic too that the media never brought up that the people behind the recall and some now elected to council are good friends with Karen Grosnickle, the former treasurer of the city who had to repay tens of thousands of dollars due to alleged embezzlement? But yet they point the finger at others? Hypocrisy at its best! The cleanup in Potterville had already begun with the former council, this election set them back a few years now.

I think the people of Potterville have no idea what they are in for with this election. The City has one new member who has never even been to a council meeting! It's very easy for people to judge when they sit on the other side of the table. Running a City is not easy and the so- called "clean up" will be minimal as an independent investigation and MSP investigation showed no instances of wrong doing. We really need people on Council who love to serve their community! My heart goes out to Dennis, Larisa and Lisa! You truely cared and were able to run a clean campaign. That's hard to say for some of the newly elected members!! Please stay active in our community!! We really need more people like you guys around town!!

This should be a lesson for all career politicians. Government should be run like a business and not like your personal household.
