A Jackson woman was shot early Friday morning in the 1400 block of Maple Street.
Police believe an argument broke out between the woman's husband and another man. They say the suspect fired a shot at the woman's husband, but he ducked and the bullet hit the woman in the chest.
The victim's name has not been released. She is recovering in a Jackson hospital.
