that is so cute kim.don't we wish it was that easy.rent-a-gov.com.I really can't believe michigan is in such a mess.and why did they wait till the last minute to do a budget.maybe there just stalling for time.Maybe they just don't know how to correct so many problems.maybe there hoping for ideas from the public.they could be waiting till they can get out of mich politics.and then god knows who will take on mich headaches.so many people have just been made poor,so many jobs gone.the high costs of everything.2nd hand stores have even raised there prices.tourist bussiness gone.so many homes for sale.what happened to such a beautiful state?many can't save a dime, and to many bills at the end of the month.we can't blame it all on the gov.I really think it goes beyond that.any one bringing prices up have not helped at all.so greedy.landlords,ect.it's cheaper to live in a motel by the month.but very hard.prayer is the only thing many of us have left.god will deliver us out of this hell.

can we check out the states that are doing well, and if it's due to them having good gov people, may we please rent these people to straighten out mich.let the ones in offices now go on long unpaid vacations.as many have to rent things because they find it cheaper.rent new gov people,it will save michigan alot of money.and that will cut the budget,by millions.

rather this will cause jobs to leave or not get bussiness I don't know.why are other states doing alot better than mich?we need to check out what there taxes are.taxes are what run a state.but there has to be jobs as well.these taxes are hitting middle class on down real bad.I have no real idea how canada is run and how well off they are.they don't get into wars.how much of jenns attuide of how to run mich, does it come from her canada back ground.jenn don't make sense to most of us.where are our taxes going?as many people in mich have became so poor.any thing that has been done in the budget or the cuts have really hurt middle class on down.and the way it is, it will only get worse.our gov makes a last min budget, quick fixes.and people don't get it.but to tax, people need many jobs in mich.social programs are needed more now than ever.people will not make it otherwise.crime on the rise, gas prices to high.everything so high.where is mich headed??such a mess.

Wouldn't it be interesting to find out excactly how much money is collected from taxes and to whom it is going to? We are being taxed out of our homes, we are doing without alot of extras that we were accustomed to. Those of us that are still here will be taxed beyond belief, I can't wait. What will the next tax be? each breath we take?

this should of been thought out better on just what bussiness should of been taxed, because of what costs will be passed on to customers,if storage units get taxed, considering many poor people use them now, thats not exactly right, but yet if it's used for the richers persons stuff,it won't hurt them.if one makes a fortune on landscaping,no,it shouldn't make them to mad,but for the little guy making much less profit,it will hurt them.it is targeted at the ones not doing so well.but yet basically it could run smaller bussiness out of bussiness or cause them more set backs, then the bigger co will take overr giving them more bussiness.otherwise this helps money keep money or make more money.once again money took care of it's money people.not the little guy at all.but if this isn't passed due to many inraged, what will they tax or cut.the gov only kows how to hurt many already suffering the little guy and the poor.this is what isn't fare.last minute dessions, quick fixes.unfair ! !

I am confused....Landscapers will go out of business if they have to collect a 'pass through' tax to their customers? We are not talking about lawn mowing here, but high dollar landscaping projects. If someone is going to fork over $5,000 for a landscaping project will $300 in taxes mean they won't do it? Come on, more chicken little B.S. from an industry that has has been able to benefit from its tax status for too long. Have you ever noticed how many landscaping companies there are? Must be very profitable if the yellow pages is full of them. Keep in mind that the owners of these companies make their profits through the use of a signicant amount of 'illegal' laboreres. After typing all that I am still confused as to why the companies are upset...oh year because they no longer have a free pass on taxes. Should have been corrected a long long time ago.

The Governor and the state legislature is out of control with spending. The highest unemployment in the country and they tax businesses and citizens to create financial health. It's time to look at the whole budget. The entitlement programs have got to change. By the way, the local millages are rising at accelerated rates, too. Maybe we're not crying uncle loud enough.

I don't know what tax my storage unit people got hit with but I now pay more a month due to them being taxed more.I'm not happy about that.what little we got is in storage and do to loosing our home due to illness and loss of work,we live on barely nothing at this time.thanks to the kids we do have a bed to sleep in out of the cold.thank god for good kids, and it's more than some have that are homeless.many people have there few belongings in storage,it's all they have left.as many have lost there homes.so we are sure the gov knows how many people are using storage units now and why.so hear we go again, lets hit the poorer ones.thoes storing fancy cars and big find boats and rich mans toys won't care there bill went up.what about thoes barely hanging on to what little they have.
