A 63-year-old St. Clair County man is under arrest after authorities say he tried to hire someone to kill his ex-wife.
Authorities say the man tried to hire an undercover officer to do the killing. They say he provided photos of her and her car, along with where she worked and a stolen handgun.
Police traced the gun back to Pontiac.
The man, whose name wasn't immediately released, is facing charges of solicitation for murder, felony firearm and possession of stolen property.
He was arrested Monday in Algonac.
