The Michigan Court of Appeals has denied the city of Lansing's request to delay construction of a gasoline pipeline through south Lansing.
By denying the appeal, a spokesman for Wolverine Pipeline Company says the court must have agreed that the proposed route for the gas line is the safest and most reliable.
The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Michigan Department of Transportation and four townships it would run through have already approved the pipeline.
It only lacks community government approval from Delta Township and Lansing.
