Hi-Tech Crime Fighters Get Help

Forensic investigators, trying to crack cases with no suspects, will now have more help.

The National Institute of Justice has awarded the Michigan State Police forensic science division a $1.4 million grant.

The money will go toward DNA analysis on major cases including homicide, rape and robbery.

Investigators say they are becoming more confident that suspects will be apprehended with more DNA information.
