After recent studies, the CDC has issued new guidelines this season. They're recommending children ages six months to 23 months get vaccinated. This age group was encouraged to get the shot in previous years, but now the CDC is maker stricter guidelines.

County health departments will start their immunization programs in mid-October.
Rumors that this will be a bad flu season may not be true. Health experts say they have no way of predicting when the flu will strike or how serious it will be.
