Authorities say a Michigan man who was swept away while swimming in a flood-swollen river in southern Texas has been found dead.
Officials in New Braunfels, Texas, say 23-year-old Derek Joel-Nelson Clemens of Baldwin, Mich., was found dead Thursday in the Guadalupe River.
Crews are searching for his friend, 28-year-old Nikos Paraskevopoulos of Alexandria, La., but hold dim hopes of finding him alive.
Both men went missing Wednesday as flash floods fueled by the remnants of Tropical Storm Hermine hit parts of Texas.
The death toll from Hermine-fueled flooding in Texas and Oklahoma stands at four.
