Highway U.S. 127, beneath Kipp Road, near Mason has reopened. It was closed for nearly 90 minutes Wednesday afternoon by a major natural gas leak.
The leak was caused after a car went out of control, rolled over the line and caused the break. Two people in the car suffered what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Consumers Energy crews stopped the leak and repaired the line. The highway was then reopened.
