Twenty-five-year-old Thomas Eugene White III stepped into court Friday morning, chained and handcuffed. He said almost nothing, and kept his eyes closed and hands clenched through the hearing. He offered one statement at the end of the arraignment. He asked, "Which God to you serve?"
Despite White's bizarre behavior in the courtroom Friday, Meridian Township police say he is cooperating with their investigation.
White is accused of murdering his mother Diane Urbanik, her husband Tony, and their 13-year-old son Anthony in their home almost two weeks ago.
White is currently being held without bond in an Ingham County jail, and his preliminary hearing is in a few weeks.
