J.J. Abrams, the director of Star Wars: Episode VII, released a new YouTube video filmed on a closed set in Abu Dhabi on May 21, to offer fans a chance to play a role in the new Star Wars movie.
It's all a part of "Star Wars: Force for Change," a charity initiative that Abrams, Disney and Lucasfilm unveiled Wednesday.
Donors will be entered into a drawing, and one winner will be chosen. The guest will be put into makeup and costume for a scene that will be shot in London.
The winner will also get to meet the cast and check out the closed set.
The funds that are donated for this promotion will benefit
UNICEF's Innovation Labs which helps kids in need. To be eligible for a chance at the role, entrants must be 18 or older and donate at least $10 to enter by July 18 at fundraising site Omaze.
