Sometimes, perhaps through tips alone, the Michigan Humane Society in Detroit has to act quick to save the lives of animals that cannot help themselves.

An abandoned home is where the team MHS were led, the sounds coming from the hot attic attracted the attention of a tipster.

From the video's description: "With no mother in sight, it’s a mystery how these pups got into this predicament and how they were still alive."

"After searching the house, MHS Rescue found the little pups hiding under insulation in the attic. Warm to the touch and looking dehydrated, it was clear that these puppies needed help."

The MHS team got the puppies to the shelter and had them checked by a veterinarian. The dogs, who have been named Aubrey, Aundrea, Dawn and Shannon, have become not only healthy, but happy pups and are waiting to be adopted into their forever homes.
