Volkswagen, in an interactive PSA, showed moviegoers in Hong Kong the dangers of texting while driving.
The car company ran a commercial before a recent film. The PSA, "Eyes on the Road," begins with a first-person perspective of driving a car on an empty road. The theater then uses a location-based broadcaster to send texts to the audience, taking their attention away from the screen and to their cell phones.
The on-screen vehicle veers off the road, showing the audience the true dangers of distracted driving.
