Ionia Public Safety Rescues Baby Owls

Ionia Public Safety Officers did their wildlife good deed for the day when they rescued two owlets from a busy road.

A dispatcher posted a message along with a picture to their Facebook page. The picture has received hundreds of likes from their fans.

From the Ionia County Central Dispatch:

"Ionia Public Safety responded to a call involving this little guy and his sibling sitting in the roadway. They scooted the little owlets out of the road, and let them continue on their way. Even though the mother neglected the 2, she was let off with a warning, and still has custody - Dispatcher Bre"
