Andrew Ballard was fishing in Northern Michigan when he noticed an enormous fog bank rolling in over Lake Michigan.
The video was captured on Platte Bay in Lake Michigan, which is located south of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
The fog appears as a towering cloud that stretches for miles along the shore. Warm air at 80 degrees in Michigan over the lake which is still very cold at around 40 degrees created the fog, which settled over Lake Michigan, as far south as Muskegon and Holland.
