For the 1st time in 5 years, Lake Superior is frozen enough 2 visit the amazing ice caves @ Apostle Is.

The US Department of the Interior tweeted a photo, featuring an ice cave off the coast of Lake Superior that looks as though it belongs in a fairy tale.

The photo caught fire immediately, getting hundreds of retweets and favorites.

It happens every year along the shores of Lake Superior off the coast of WIsconsin, but not many people get to see the incredible ice caves in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.

For the first time since 2009, ice along the shore of Lake Superior is frozen solid, allowing visitors to hike out two miles, round trip to check out the ice caves.
