Freezing weather caused by the polar vortex in Michigan has people talking about how cold it is, but it could be much much worse.

This YouTube video shows blustery conditions at McMurdo Research Station in Antarctica.

Condition One in Antarctica means that the following conditions are present:

Windspeed over 62 mph
Visibility less than (98 ft)
Wind chill below −99 °F
Description: Dangerous conditions; outside travel is not permitted.
