TRAVERSE CITY -- Susan Sarandon will join fellow Oscar winner Michael Moore at this week's Traverse City Film Festival in northern Michigan.
The festival runs from Tuesday through Sunday. On Wednesday, Sarandon will offer a preview of her latest film, "Robot & Frank," in which she plays a librarian. She'll also talk shop in a one-on-one panel discussion with Moore.
Also making an appearance will be director Jay Roach, who will introduce a preview of his new comedy "The Campaign." It stars Will Ferrell and Zach Galifinakis.
Moore says he started the festival to help rescue an art form suffering from poor quality at chain theaters. It emphasizes foreign films, American independents and documentaries.
Movies are shown at six indoor theaters and outdoors on the shore of Grand Traverse Bay.

Michael Moore is just trying to create a venue to show his crappy film and promote his bias agenda. Go see “Michael Moore Hates America” or “Michael Moore Exposed”. He’s just trying to make money at others expense, plain and simple. And he's a little warped.
