Musicians Strike Cancels Wharton Center Performance

EAST LANSING - If you have tickets to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's performance at the Wharton Center Thursday night, make other plans. Symphony musicians went on strike Monday over a proposed 33% pay cut. The Wharton Center announced that full refunds for Thursday's performance will be processed within the next few days, using the same method as the original payment. Patrons who purchase tickets by check or cash will be issued a refund check within the next few weeks.
