Executive Director of the Ingham County Fair, Neil Kentner says a crowbar was probably used to pry through a set of double doors on the south side of the building Monday night.
The main office of the building was tossed... and the door of an interior doors was kicked from which a safe was stolen. In that safe, petty cash, amusement park coupons and internal credit card receipts of ticket purchases to an August Trace Atkins concert.
Kentner stresses, only purchases made in person at the Ingham County Fair office - with a credit card - are in danger. Online purchases or those made at Meijer are safe.
If you think your credit information may be at risk, call your credit card company, or the Ingham County Fair office at 517-676-2428.
