Entirely state funded, the program as been tentatively cut by the Lansing School District because money is currently held up in legislation.

Administrators are applying for grants - in the amount of 300 thousand dollars. But, even if they receive that money... if the per student funding from the state doesn't come through they will be operating a much smaller program next year.

The adult education program educates some 300 people every year... handing out more than 100 diplomas and GED's every spring.
