An estimated 6,500 fans watched the Lugnuts in their season opener, the 10th in the team's history.

Several changes are in store for fans, starting with a new roster and coaching staff. That's because the team is now affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Also, new, the $500,000 scoreboard in centerfield, complete with instant replays. Fans say this was a dramatic improvement to the live experience at the ballpark.

Also on opening night, the Lugnuts welcomed the team's four millionth fan, Heidi Scranton from St. Johns. Lugnuts GM Jeff Calhoun says that's a milestone not many minor league teams can say they've achieved.

The Lugnuts won the game 1-0.
