Ex-Pro Wrestler Dies

A man from Michigan's Upper Peninsula who gained fame as a professional wrestler under such names as Bastion Booger and Norman the Lunatic has died at the age of 53.

The Fassbender Funeral Home in Marquette says Michael Shaw died Saturday at his home in Skandia. A cause of death was not given.

The funeral home says Shaw's career took him throughout Canada, the U.S. and 52 other countries in all. He completed his wrestling career as
Bastion Booger.

Back in the U.P., Shaw worked as a security manager for General Securities Corp.

Shaw is survived by his wife, Kelly; son, Joshua; daughter, Amanda; mother, Josephine; and brother, Edward "Rick."

Visitation and funeral services are set for Thursday at the funeral home.
