Voice of the Voter Poll: Dingell Leading by Wide Margin

A News 10 Voice of the Voter poll shows longtime U.S. Rep. John Dingell leading Republican challenger and cardiologist Rob Steele in the 15th District.
The poll released Thursday shows 53 percent back the Dearborn Democrat, while 36 percent back Steele and 6 percent a third-party candidate.
The poll also finds 46 percent of voters in western Michigan's 3rd District back GOP state Rep. Justin Amash, while 37 percent back Democratic lawyer Pat Miles. Republican Vernon Ehlers' retirement has opened up the seat. Eight percent back other candidates.
The poll interviewed 400 likely voters in each district Saturday through Tuesday. It has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.

    ...and it only cost us 150 million dollars! Not bad for a man who has held this office for his entire lifetime. So much for citizen politicians.
