The man accused of robbing banks in several states wasn't wearing his colorful sweater when he was arrested on Tuesday.
Police tell us Carl Kieffer of Spokane, WA was arrested a couple of hours after robbing a bank in O’Fallon, IL on Tuesday morning.
They cornered him in a field in Swansea, IL not long after spotting his abandoned car and he surrendered right away.
Kieffer will face federal charges for robbing banks in Illinois, Ohio, Wyoming, and one in Charlotte last week.
He never tried to hide his face, and wore the same unique-looking sweater in most of the robberies.
