Three young men were arrested late Sunday, accused of breaking into the garage of a house in the 1900 block of Vasser Street. The owner of the northeast Lansing home called police after hearing noises coming from the garage just before 10:30 p.m.
When police arrived they saw the trio run from the garage. Canines were called in and tracked them.
The oldest of the suspects is 17-year-old James Stephen Hislop III of Lansing. He was arraigned today on two home invasion charges and he is being held as an adult.
Police aren't releasing information on the other two suspects. They are being held in the Ingham County Youth Home.
