UPDATE: Suspected Cedar Village Shooter Caught on Tape

East Lansing Police release surveillance pictures of the man accused of shooting two MSU students in Cedar Village last week.

The shooting happened Friday night around 8:45pm at an apartment complex in the 200 block of Cedar Street. Pictures show the suspect arriving and leaving the complex.

He is described as a black male in his early 20's, approximately 6'1"-6'3" tall, 170 pounds, wearing a black hooded North Face winter coat, tan pants and black shoes. Police believe he has significant facial injuries he got during a struggle with the victims.

One of the victims, 20-year-old Dominique Nolff of Middleville, died from his injuries Saturday morning. The second victim was treated for a single gunshot wound and released. He is cooperating with police as they investigate.

Police say the shooting does not appear to be a random act. Anyone with information is urged to call the ELPD Detective Bureau at
