Mason police say a woman was held against her will in a Mason apartment for two days and repeatedly sexually and physically assaulted.

The woman was able to escape shortly after noon on Friday with the help of a resident in the Kiwanis Village apartment complex who called police.

One suspect has been arrested and charged with one count of 1st Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct. He is jailed and scheduled for arraignment Saturday morning. A second suspect was released pending the results of the ongoing investigation and review by the Ingham County prosecutor's office.

The woman was treated for multiple non-life threatening injuries.

Vanessa, Since when are apartments not reasonable housing? We live in an apartment and are perfectly happy. So you drive by apartments with disdain on your face, "those" people.

The worst part about it is that the apartment complex it happened at is for senior citizens. this is really sad, and he did it all because his girlfriend broke up with him. SAD!
