Police are investigating at least two reports of stolen cell phones that happened over the weekend.

One happened around 7:30pm Sunday in Jackson. Police say the 19-year-old victim was walking in the area of North and Spring Streets when three men punched him in the face several times and took his phone.

The other theft happened early Sunday on MSU's campus. Police say two men forcibly took a phone from a student walking near East Holmes just before 2:30am.

Suspects are believed to have fled south across Shaw Lane towards Hubbard Hall. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Michigan State University Police Department at 517-355-2222.
