Neighborhood Crime Watch

A home invasion turns into grand theft auto all while the unsuspecting victims slept.
The Ingham County Sheriff's Office responded to a home invasion call from residents in the 23-hundred block of West Boulevard in Holt.
While the homeowner was sleeping in the living room a thief entered the home thru the garage, stole various electronics, and on their way out located the keys to the victim's vehicle.
The homeowner woke up to the sound of the car starting, but thought it was his wife leaving for work.
When he discovered his wife was still at home he called the sheriff's office.
The stolen vehicle is a teal colored 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix with silver rims.
That get-away car nodoubt contains the homeowner's stolen electronics.
Another home invasion in Holt happened in the 24-hundred block of Aurelius road.
The mode of transportation this thief made off with was a pair of Air Jordan tennis shoes.
Ingham deputies also took a break-in report from the 25-hundred block of Pinetree oad,, electronics were taken from that home.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is working a larceny report from the two-hundred block of East McDevitt,, stolen there were scrap parts from a vechicle.
