The Delta Township division of the Eaton County Sheriff's Office tells me that a couple purse thieves have once again hit the Meijer store at 51-25 West Sagniaw Highway.
The suspects are a white male, and a white female who take unattended purses from shopping carts, then use the credit cards in them at other stores, before they're cancelled.
Eaton deputies are also investigating the breaking and entering of a house that's being refurbished on Bently Road, a bunch of tools being used on that job were stolen.
The Ingham County Sheriff's office is also investigating a breaking and entering, it happened at Williamston Greenhouse and Florist at 14-48 West Grand River Avenue in Williamston.
The owners there are still tallying up what was taken.
Ingham deputies took a theft from vehicle complaint from a victim who parked behind Buddy's Grill at the corner of Aurelius and Holt roads, in Delhi Township.
The vehicle was unlocked, and a thief made off with golf clubs and shoes, and a child's car seat.
And the Jackson County Sheriff's Office took four malicious destruction of property complaints in the area of 17th street between Franklin and Carlton.
Someone used black spray paint to graffiti several buildings and vehicles in that location.
