Police have identified the man shot and killed in Lansing early Wednesday as 35-year-old Anthony Karlton Kye.

He was shot just after midnight in the 600 block of Pine Street near Saginaw Street.

Police have yet to arrest a suspect. They're asking anyone who may know something or who might have been in the area to call the department's investigation unit at 517-483-6842.

The Downtown Neighborhood Association will be discussing the deadly shooting at its monthly meeting Thursday night at the downtown library. They hope to have someone from the police department there to update them on the investigation. Anyone is welcome to attend.
