A former teacher at a Jackson county charter high school is behind bars, arrested on two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
28-year-old Matthew Lusby was arrested at his home Wednesday and is now in the Jackson County jail. He is accused of having sex twice with a teenaged female student.
Lusby had resigned his job at the da Vinci Institute in Jackson back in February after working two years as a teacher at the school.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
