A 21-year-old man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after he was stabbed in Blackman Township Wednesday night. It happened in a parking lot at the corner of Brentwood Street and Wildwood Avenue around 8pm. Witnesses told officers the man grabbed a woman by the neck during an argument. The people who broke it up say the woman then got a knife from her purse and stabbed the man in the chest.
Blackman Township Public Safety officers tell wilx.com the woman left in vehicle driven by another man. Jackson police arrested her later in the evening. She was question in Blackman Township and then taken to the Jackson County jail. The victim is at Allegiance Hospital.
