Neighborhood Crime Watch

Tonight's News Ten Neighborhood Crime Watch takes us first to Eaton County.
There was a breaking and entering at the State of Michigan office complex in Delta Township, some one stole a safe from a booth run by the Commission On The Blind.
Blind men routinely sit in state buildings and sell candy bars and soda to employees,, in their safe was two thousand dollars.
There was also a breaking and entering at the 40&8 club on Waverly road,, suspects forced their way into the club and stole a T-V and a radio amplifier.
The third breaking and entering Eaton deputies are investigating was at a home in the 39-hundred block of North Bradley Road, four chain saws were stolen
The Jackson Police Department is investigating an assault that happened last night.
The victim was walking near Greenwood Food and Beverage when they were attacked.
The victim was able to hold the suspect down on the ground, but then was assaulted by a second suspect from behind,, the victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The Clinton County Sheriff's Office took a group of theives off the streets,
Six people made their way into a home in the six-thousand block of West Jason.
The group was made up of::: Four kids ranging in age from eight to fourteen, a 35-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman.
While the elderly woman kept the female homeowner cornered, the kids went thru the house, stealing a purse, money, and jewelry.
When they left,,, the homeowner's relative followed them, Called 9-1-1 and they were subsequently arrested.
They were involved in at least one other incident in the 11-thousand block of South Wright Road, where they also confronted a homeowner.
The sheriff's office tells me there may be more cases that just haven't been reported.
