2nd Suspect Arrested in Murder

LANSING - Police arrest a second suspect in a July murder investigation.

Lansing police say they received a tip and were able to located 20 year old Dontrel Marquis Birge Wednesday night at about 10 o'clock.
Birge was found a his home in the 6000 block of Orchard Court in Lansing.

Birge is suspected in the July 8th shooting death of 28-year-old Michael Lee Tracy. The shooting took place inside a car near the intersection of Waverly and Holmes in Lansing, but Tracy's body was left at Frances Park a few blocks away.

The other suspect, Ortease Duncan, was arrested later that evening.

    Great job LPD, now hows about finding the other piece of crap that killed Miranda and Jay a year and a half ago. Karma already got one of them for you.

    I am glad that they have finally found the other suspect for that shooting at the Frances Park. I think that Lansing has to do more work to keep that city safe then the way it is right now.

    I was at my police meeting last night and it was mentioned that they are cleaning up the "Orchard Court" area. And I guess they are!! Thanks LPD And keep those tips coming,everyone can help clean up our city.
