A sheriff says the man charged with killing two people, including an abortion protester, is back in a Michigan jail after attempting suicide over the weekend.
Shiawassee County Sheriff George Braidwood says Harlan Drake shattered a television in his cell Saturday and used the glass to cut his arm.
Braidwood says he was treated at a hospital and returned to the county jail Saturday night.
Drake is charged with fatally shooting abortion protester James Pouillon near Owosso High School on Friday and then killing a local businessman, Mike Fuoss.
The sheriff says jail staff had been checking Drake's cell every 15 minutes and responded after hearing the television break.
Braidwood says Drake has been "very passive" since returning to jail and has no TV.
