Multiple Arrests In Prostitution Sting

The Lansing Police Department's undercover work has proved to be healthy for Lansing streets yet again.

Thursday night's undercover prostitution sting resulted in 14 arrests. Marijuana and over $1,700 dollars in cash were seized.

Police say the Kalamazoo street corridor from Pennsylvania to Mifflin has traditionally been a problem when it comes to prostitutes, and that's why they keep their undercover stings going.

The public is getting hosed by WILX and their policy of limiting views. I have been posting for several months and have seen my posts disappear while the story is still being commented on by others. It is evident somebody has the power to twist the arm of WILX to take posts down they don't agree with. So, much like this article it appears someone is stinging the voice of the people. Oh, by the way don't you just love the poll questions asked by WILX. These questions are designed to divide the citizenery and be used as propaganda for the elite. Goodbye WILX I can no longer post to an organization that prostitutes itself.

As long as MEN want these women and are willing to pay, their business will continue. It would be nice if we had a drug free mich, but as long as some people want drugs,There will be drugs dealers making money. As long as there are not enough jobs in mich to put all to work a lot of crime and many things will go on.Cutting programs to the poor will cause many problems. As long as it takes money to live some will do anything to survive.Right or wrong. As long as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, more will fall between the cracks.

In bigger cities this is noticed. In smaller towns men just know what houses to go to.Street cornors are not needed. Is there a differance when women take products from a sales man delivering products to homes.Seen that happen to.Its still sex between people.Someone pays somehow. So much goes on that is never caught.Men are just as much to blame. As long as they want sex so bad and are willing to pay,It will continue to go on.The thrill of strange is so stupid.Even some married men have to see what they are missing.I don't think the POOR men driving junkers are what these women crawl into cars with.Just like some women end up beaten or worse. Some end up with STDS or worse like aids. All have their stories why they do this.If more jobs were in mich, would all continue?Too bad we can't find out.Just like we don't know what it would be like to have a drug free mich.Just like it would be nice to have a government in mich who knew how to run this state without cuts to the poor all the time.

The thing is what one can get away with and not pay taxes?Drug dealers don't pay taxes. Some of the rich have bank accounts in other countries they don't pay taxes on.Many don't claim under the table jobs.Never pay taxes on them. There are many things some get cash for.Yard sales don't have taxes on what you sell.We hate taxes.Yet like making all the money we can tax free. The gov complains not enough tax money? If it was made legal and these girls had a union, not pimps. How would that work?So many say make pot legal.Tax that.I say bring jobs into mich and put people to work the legal way. These women get caught,go to court, pay fines, helping the courts gain money. Then go back to the streets and continue doing their thing. It makes the public happy thinking it will stop this way.No differant than speed traps and when more tickets are given out.Does it stop speeders?Fines pay for what? Some ones paycheck that does pay taxes. If they are high paid, they get tax deductions, not needed.

Difference is, When a woman meets up with a MAN in a bar, she doesnt TAKE or ACCEPT CASH for the Deed. There is a big difference. Whether they see each other or not again, that's a personal choice. Prostitution is Still Illegal.. Do you pay Taxes??? they dont...
  • by Anonymous on Sep 5, 2009 at 09:12 AM
I think it is illegal because taxes aren't being collected off it.You'd be surprised some of the names of men using these women. They have the money for whatever they want.Don't see the names of MEN being caught with these women. If it was a legal operation,no one could collect fines ect.Just another day in the big city.

What is the differance in women who date several men.Not wanting to get tied down. They get taken out,Men buy them flowers, take them to dinner ,see them a few times spending money on them. Many end up even having sex with them,Then short relationship is over. Some even go to bed the first date. How many men and women hookup in bars?Don't mean they are prostitutes. How a man choices to spend money on a women,is his choice. When two people choose to go to bed is their choice. It would help to not stand on the street to get hooked up.It would help if men would stop driving around looking like they are looking for whatever.Until it is illegal to have sex before marriage, how can they arrest the women and so on.Men give money to women all the time. The way morals are in the USA?What is a prostitute?Dinner, drinks,a movie, adds up to money paid on a woman,So some prefer cash. What would many call first date sex?I call it stupid,But?Many of those people never see each other again.

Those ladies of the night have been here for years,Going back to bible times.I'm sorry they feel this is all they are worth.Single and try to get some social help.It won't happen. Many feel it is their only job they can get at this time.I think if their were more jobs, many would not be doing this.If welfare gets the cuts some wants then look for a lot more of it.It is hard to say what many would do just to have a place to sleep and food to eat.Try being homeless and you have no money and no jobs can be found. Some single women just want to keep bills paid so not to become homeless.Till one is there it's really best to figure out why this is going on.Sure it is wrong, and attracts stupid men to hang around.Sure sometimes drugs are envolved. But it never gets stopped.I don't think it ever will.
