Kwame Accused Of Violating Probation

The Wayne County prosecutor's office is claiming former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has violated his probation in a criminal case that led to jail time and his removal from office.

In a filing released Friday, Prosecutor Kym Worthy's office says Kilpatrick made a late payment toward his $1 million restitution and also requested to travel outside the country for a trip that may not have been related to his new job near Dallas.

Worthy wants a Michigan judge to order the state Department of Corrections or Tarrant County, Texas, authorities to appear in court and explain why they have not sought a probation violation warrant against Kilpatrick.

A message seeking comment was left Friday for Kilpatrick's lawyer, Michael Alan Schwartz.

Perhaps Kwame should have researched his new residence B4 moving to TX, Tarrant County in particular. They'll put him away so fast he won't know what hit him. U can't violate any crime, probation or law in TX & expect 2 get off easy. How stupid is he? TX is the last state a convicted convict should relocate to. Now he's got Kym Worthy back on his trail and the Tarrant Co. Parole Officers? If he did violate his parole in TX set up by MI, he will serve time there as so he should. This man has single handedly destroyed the city of Detroit financially, ethically and morally. He spent and swindled tens of millions of $$ of Detroit taxpayers $$ to keep his criminal lifestyle secret. Finally he resigned as Mayor & spent time in Wayne Co. Jail to no avail. TX laws don't care who U R, U break their law, U go 2 jail, depending on the crime. Kwame is still lying and hasn't learned his lesson. He's headed for TX state prison. Then back to MI to deal with Kym Worthy. Give it up Kwame! You're caught!
