Crime Watch

Vehicle break-ins headline tonight's News Ten Neighborhood Crime Watch.
Over the past week there have been eight in Jackson County's Summit Township.
One from Maple Drive off Spring Arbor Road,, another from Springcrest, also off Spring Arbor Road.
There were also vehicle break-ins on Crestbrook and Halstead, again all in Summit Township.
Sheriff's deputies tell me, many personal items were taken,, and they all appear to be related.
Clinton County Sheriff's deputies tell me they have two vehicle break-ins in the nine and ten-thousand blocks of Grand River.
One vehicle was in a garage,, money was stolen.
Another vehicle was in a driveway, and a purse was taken from it.
Finally Ingham County Sheriff's deputies report a vehicle break-in in the 41-hundred block of Turnbridge,, in Delhi Township, stereo equipment was stolen in that case.
Law enforcement authorities tell me as the weather warms up, crime increases, so keep vehicles locked,, and valuables out of sight.
