Crime Watch

In tonight's News Ten Neighborhood Crime Watch, the Mid-Michigan law enforcement agencies I contacted today report a relatively calm Easter weekend in terms of crime.
Here are a few reports that the Ingham County Sheriff's office recently received.
In the two thousand block of North Aurelius Road, someone smashed out the window of a vehicle and stole the personal items inside.
Similar story from the 15-hundred block of Holbrook, where a smashed window allowed a thief to get into a vehicle, but once inside nothing was taken.
In the 23-hundred block of Cedar street a vehicle was broken into and movies and tools were taken.
And in the 32-hundred block of Kipp road, a four wheeler was taken from a barn.
In Jackson County,, the owner of Northwest Self Storage,, at 78-54 Dixon road reports that 24 storage units were broken into over the weekend..
Sheriff's deputies are currently trying to contact the storage unit renters so they can identify what was taken.
