The News Ten Neighborhood Crime Watch 3-9-09

The news ten neighborhood crime watch begins at taco bell, the one at 43-47 west saginaw highway.

The clerk tells the eaton county sheriff's department that three patrons got mad about their order, and trashed the restaurant.

Then when the manager came out to get their plates, the three jumped him, and assaulted him.

Deputies were able to locate their vehicle,, arrested were:: Aaron Walton,, Ira Johnson, and Delmar Rolston.

The 18 and 19 year olds are all from lansing.

They are charged with assault and battery.

Also Eaton deputies arrested a man and a woman who were ringing door bells in the area around belgian street, asking for gas money, they believe the two were getting ready to do some breaking and enterings.

Moving now to Jackson County's Columbia Township, Knutson's Sporting Goods, at 151 Wampler's Lake Road in Brooklyn,, was broken into.

A thief, or theives, gained access thru a vent and stole money, seven paintball guns, paintballs, and six muzzleloader rifles.

Besides the damage to the building from the entry, display cases holding the guns were damaged, as well as the cash register.

In Ingham County, the 23-hundred block of Cedar Park in Delhi Township, someone stole a handgun while the residents were in the middle of moving.

In the 15-hundred block of Huntshire (Delhi) A wallet was taken from inside a car.

In Wheatfield Township, the four hundred block of East Holt Road, a subject entered a residence thru a dog door, but were scared off by the homeowner.

Then there were two malicious destruction of property complaints, one in Williamstown Township,, at 53 Lilac, someone let the air out of a car's tires and put mud in the gas tank.

Also in Vevay Township, the 23-hundred block of Coy,, a vehicles tires were flattened and oil was poured on the windshield.
