A Michigan man faces child pornography charges after police say they arrested a California teen during an investigation into images traded between the two states.
Fifty-eight-year-old Robert Stephen Kirka was arraigned Monday on charges of possessing child sexually abusive material, distributing or promoting child sexually abusive activity and two counts of computer crime.
The Livingston County Daily Press & Argus reports a 17-year-old from Sacramento, Calif., was arrested after taking sexual images involving infants. That investigation found images were shared with Kirka, whose Brighton Township home was searched, turning up images of preteens on his computer.
Kirka declined to comment to the Howell newspaper. He will be back in court March 10.
