Suspicious Death Ruled a Homicide

A medical examiner has declared the death of a man on Lansing's southwest side to be a homicide, based on autopsy results. It was being called a "suspicious death" when broke the story Thursday. Averill LeMon was found dead in a home near the corner of Miller and Waverly Roads Thursday afternoon. The 29-year-old did not live there, but police say it was not unusual for him to be there. Detectives are interviewing people who might know what LeMon had been doing for the last few days. It's not know how he died or how long he'd been dead before his body was found.     Living on this end of town (just down Miller Road actually), I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was a drug deal gone bad. This neighborhood has really crapped out over the last several years.
